Dear Doctor Love,

It is the first I am visiting this site. I am a 20 year old girl who lives in Iran. My problem is that I can't have a relationship with others and I feel that nobody can fall in love with me!

I really need somebody to give me some love and allow me to fall in love with him.

On the other hand I can't let them come a little closer. I am scared to have somebody inside my privacy but I need a person to love. I have this problem with myself not with the others.

I appreciate your help.

You feel nobody can love you
You can't have a relationship with others
You're scared to allow somebody into your privacy (I assume you mean you’re afraid getting intimate with someone)

Setare, why do you feel nobody can love you? There are many young men out there who are in love with you trust me. Just be yourself and be more open minded, the right person will come along. Look inwardly into yourself and realize how beautiful you are and then let this self confidence portray to the outside well.

The Second issue is having a relationship with others. I assume you've never had a boyfriend. But have you ever fantasized being with a particular boy or man? That is the first step to a relationship. Believe in yourself.

Lastly, you don't have to sleep with someone if you're in a relationship with that person. This will be very difficult to do since the temptation is high. But I assume Iran has very strict laws that will scare any body from premarital sex. So you're even lucky to be backed by your state. Once you're in a relationship avoid kissing, sexually touching each other and being alone with him in lonely dark places. Otherwise it will definitely lead to him getting inside your privacy.
